Spare S Band Cryogenic LNA for New Norcia
Callisto is proud to announce further work orders with ESOC for 2006 : the provision of a spare S Band Cryogenic LNA for the New Norcia Station.
A pair of S Band cryogenic LNAs were designed and built by Callisto as sub-contractor to SED Systems for the DSA1 project in 1999. These LNAs have subsequently been installed and operated in New Norcia since 2000. The original order did not include a completed LNA assembly. However, a number of spare components for the LNA were supplied. The increasing operations load on the New Norcia station means that an improved spares regime is now required in order to improve overall station availability. This project is to provide a complete LNA spare assemble.
This project takes place with the collaboration of the University of Southampton.
The delivery is scheduled for autumn 2006.
